Types of Papers Accepted

  1. Original Research (Only original research studies will be accepted.)
    Max Authors: 12
    Clinical, biomedical, or public health research; Laboratory-based studies; Health policy & medical education research.
  2. Case Reports & Case Series (Only unique and high-impact cases will be considered.)
    Max Authors: 6
    Format: Title (max 20 words), Authors (full names, affiliations, corresponding email), Case Presentation, Diagnosis, Treatment & Follow-up, Discussion, Conclusion.
  3. Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses Max Authors: 6
    Well-structured reviews with strong methodology required.
  4. Short Communications Max Authors: 5
    Preliminary research findings or pilot studies.

Abstract Format & Structure

  • Word Limit: 250–300 words
  • Font & Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced
  • Structure:
    • Title: Clear & concise (max 20 words)
    • Authors: Full names, affiliations, email of the corresponding author
    • Background: Brief context & objective
    • Methods: Study design, sample, methodology
    • Results: Key findings (if available)
    • Conclusion: Main takeaways & implications
  • File Format: Submit in DOC, DOCX or PDF format

πŸ“’ Important: Plagiarized, previously published, or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Though the abstract can include multiple senior authors and researchers, the presenting author MUST be an MBBS/BDS/Undergraduate Student.

🎀 Presentation Format & Full Paper Submission

  • Accepted abstracts will be invited for either an oral talk or a poster presentation.
  • Oral Presentation: 10-minute podium slot. Authors must bring multimedia presentation slides per conference guidelines.
  • Poster Presentation: Displayed at DMC Auditorium. Authors must print and bring their poster per conference guidelines on the conference day.
  • Both formats must follow official conference guidelines.
  • Full papers will be requested from accepted presenters at the time of notification.

Rules of Team Composition

  • Maximum 5 members per team.
  • A supervisor may be included (within the 5-member limit) but is not mandatory for submission/publication in proceedings if scientifically sound.

Supervisor Guidelines

A supervisor is required for grant/funding eligibility. If applying for a grant, the supervisor must:
  • Be a faculty member from the team’s institution.
  • Have relevant expertise.
  • Accept responsibility for overseeing the project and receiving grant funds (transferred to the supervisor’s account).

Proposal Structure & Format

All proposals must include:

  1. Title: Clear, concise, informative (max 20 words).
  2. Authors: Full names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author’s email.
  3. Background & Rationale: Define problem, significance, knowledge gap.
  4. Objectives: Clear, concise, achievable list.
  5. Methodology: Study design, sample size, data collection, analysis plan, ethical considerations.
  6. Expected Outcomes: Anticipated results and potential impact.
  7. Timeline: Estimated project completion schedule.
  8. Budget (Optional): Estimated budget if relevant.
  9. References: Consistent citation style (e.g., APA, Vancouver).

Formatting Requirements

  • File Format: DOCX or PDF
  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Word Limit: 1,500 words (excluding references)

Submission Guidelines

  • The Presenting Author’s Biography and Photo must be submitted alongside the proposal.
