We invite original research abstracts from students and early-career researchers in biomedical and health sciences disciplines for presentation at the conference. Accepted abstracts will be invited for oral or poster presentations and published in:

Preliminary research findings or pilot studies.
Abstract Format & Structure
- Word Limit: 250β300 words
- Font & Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced
- Structure:
- Title: Clear & concise (max 20 words)
- Authors: Full names, affiliations, email of the corresponding author
- Background: Brief context & objective
- Methods: Study design, sample, methodology
- Results: Key findings (if available)
- Conclusion: Main takeaways & implications
- File Format: Submit in DOC, DOCX or PDF format

π€ Presentation Format & Full Paper Submission
- Accepted abstracts will be invited for either an oral talk or a poster presentation.
- Oral Presentation: 10-minute podium slot. Authors must bring multimedia presentation slides per conference guidelines.
- Poster Presentation: Displayed at DMC Auditorium. Authors must print and bring their poster per conference guidelines on the conference day.
- Both formats must follow official conference guidelines.
- Full papers will be requested from accepted presenters at the time of notification.

We invite students and early-career researchers to submit Research Proposals for presentation at NBHRC 2025. Showcase innovative ideas, develop skills, and get expert feedback!
Eligible Disciplines
Proposals are welcome from students in:

- Pharmacy & Pharmacology
- Microbiology & Immunology
- Genetics & Molecular Biology
- Biochemistry & Biotechnology
- Public Health & Epidemiology
- Medical Physics & Health Informatics
- Health Economics
- Biomedical Engineering
- Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
Rules of Team Composition
- Maximum 5 members per team.
- A supervisor may be included (within the 5-member limit) but is not mandatory for submission/publication in proceedings if scientifically sound.
Supervisor Guidelines
- Be a faculty member from the teamβs institution.
- Have relevant expertise.
- Accept responsibility for overseeing the project and receiving grant funds (transferred to the supervisorβs account).
Proposal Structure & Format
All proposals must include:
- Title: Clear, concise, informative (max 20 words).
- Authors: Full names, institutional affiliations, corresponding authorβs email.
- Background & Rationale: Define problem, significance, knowledge gap.
- Objectives: Clear, concise, achievable list.
- Methodology: Study design, sample size, data collection, analysis plan, ethical considerations.
- Expected Outcomes: Anticipated results and potential impact.
- Timeline: Estimated project completion schedule.
- Budget (Optional): Estimated budget if relevant.
- References: Consistent citation style (e.g., APA, Vancouver).
Formatting Requirements
- File Format: DOCX or PDF
- Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Word Limit: 1,500 words (excluding references)
Submission Guidelines
- Submit via the official NBHRC 2025 website: submit.dmcrac.org
- The Presenting Authorβs Biography and Photo must be submitted alongside the proposal.

Presentation Format
Accepted proposals invited for Oral (10-min talk + Q&A) or Poster presentation. Poster presenters must bring printed posters per guidelines.

π Overview: A dynamic segment where participants create a 1-minute video summarizing their research project.

- Open to all registered participants.
- Videos can be submitted individually or by a team.

- Duration: Maximum 60 seconds.
- Must Include: Project title, Author(s) name(s), Institution, DMC-RAC & NBHRC logos (mandatory).

- Submission Deadline: 15 July 2025
- Any research submitted as an NBHRC abstract can be resubmitted in this video format.
- Videos will be posted on official NBHRC platforms.
